Three Gaza Police Officers Killed & Injured In Zionist Shelling On Rafah

Ministry of Interior in Gaza announced today, Sunday, the martyrdom of two police officers and the injury of a third seriously in a Zionist bombing while securing aid in Rafah.

The ministry condemned this crime and called on mediators and the international community to pressure the enemy entity to stop targeting the police force as a civilian agency that provides services to maintain the security of citizens and organize their daily affairs.

Palestinian sources reported that a Zionist drone bombed police officers and an aid securing group in the airport area east of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip, explaining that it is a safe area and is more than a kilometer away from the security fence and the Philadelphi Corridor.

On the enemy side, the newspaper “Yedioth Ahronoth” acknowledged, quoting a Zionist security source, the responsibility of the enemy forces for the crime, and claimed that the attack in Gaza was carried out against gunmen who were near our forces in Rafah area.

The enemy entity continues to commit ceasefire violations and attacks against the people of Gaza, in light of its failure to commit to bringing in relief supplies, basic materials, mobile homes and heavy equipment to the besieged Strip.
