Member of the Supreme Political Council, Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, along with a delegation of Yemeni officials, visited the Hamas office in the capital Sana’a on Tuesday to offer condolences on the martyrdom of Commander Mohammed al-Deif, the leader of the al-Qassam Brigades.
The delegation, which included Minister of Education and Scientific Research Hassan al-Sa’adi, the governors of Aden, Hadhramaut, and Shabwah, as well as other senior officials, expressed their deep condolences to the Hamas movement and the Palestinian people for the loss of their esteemed leader.
They praised Commander al-Deif’s leadership and sacrifices during the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle, which dealt a significant blow to the Israeli occupation.
Dr. Habtoor reiterated Yemen’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and condemned the actions of the Israeli occupation. He also criticized the Palestinian Authority for its failure to support the Palestinian people and its complicity with the Israeli occupation.
The delegation emphasized the strong solidarity between Yemen and Palestine and their shared commitment to the liberation of Palestine.
In response, Abu Shamalah, a Hamas representative, highlighted that the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle has brought victory closer than ever before, paving the way for the restoration of usurped rights and the end of the occupation and its desecration of the Holy Land.
The visit underscored the strong bond between Yemen and Palestine and the unwavering support of the Yemeni leadership for the Palestinian resistance.
