Yemeni political parties have condemned recent statements by former US President Donald Trump, warning that they pose a direct threat to international peace and security.
In a statement issued Friday, anti-aggression political forces denounced Trump’s calls for the forced displacement of Gaza’s population and its occupation by US forces, labeling them a blatant violation of international law and Palestinian rights.
The statement criticized Trump’s remarks as part of a colonial mindset that supports Israeli occupation and legitimizes its crimes. It also rejected efforts to present Gaza as an investment project, calling them an extension of Israel’s policies of destruction and land theft.
The Yemeni parties also condemned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s support for these proposals, exposing what they described as the expansionist and racist nature of the Zionist entity.
They urged Arab and Islamic nations, the international community, and the United Nations to take immediate action against these threats and prevent any forced displacement of Palestinians.
Reaffirming Palestine as a central Arab and Islamic liberation cause, the statement emphasized that such colonial projects will only strengthen Palestinian resistance and the struggle for freedom, independence, and statehood.
