80,000 perform Isha & Tarawih Prayers At Al-Aqsa Mosque

80,000 worshipers performed the Isha and Tarawih prayers on the fifth day of the holy month of Ramadan, in the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem estimated that “more than 80,000 worshipers performed the Isha and Tarawih prayers in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque,” most of whom were from the Holy City and from within the 1948 territories.

Local sources said that the occupation forces imposed strict military measures on access to Al-Aqsa Mosque, preventing thousands of citizens from the West Bank governorates from reaching Jerusalem to perform prayers there.

The occupation police deployed additional forces in the occupied city of Jerusalem and the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque coinciding with the advent of the month of Ramadan, to obstruct and restrict the access of worshipers to Al-Aqsa.
