Abu Obeida, the military spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, addressed the steadfast “Ansarullah” in Yemen, praising their pioneering and heroic stance, as they declared their continued readiness to support and strike the enemy’s strongholds if the enemy resumes aggression against Gaza.
In a recorded speech on Thursday evening, Abu Obeida emphasized that what the Israeli enemy could not achieve through war, it will not achieve through threats or tricks. He clarified that the shortest path is to hold the enemy accountable to what it has agreed upon.
The Al-Qassam spokesperson stated that the occupation’s threats of war will only lead to disappointment for them and will not result in the release of their captives. He added that any escalation of aggression against the Palestinian people will lead to the death of some of their captives, stressing that the resistance is fully prepared for all possibilities.
Abu Obeida warned the families of the enemy’s captives that he has proof of life, as of today, for the remaining living captives. He pointed out that the world has witnessed the good health condition of the enemy’s captives, despite the difficulty of preserving their lives amid war.
He added that the world has seen how the resistance has adhered to the humane treatment of captives, in line with the principles of Islam, noting that the West mourns dozens of the occupation’s captives while ignoring the suffering of thousands of Palestinian prisoners.
Abu Obeida directed a message to two billion Muslims, urging them to support the Palestinian people in their struggle against the Israeli occupation.
Abu Obeida’s statements come at a time when Hamas stated that mediators are continuing their communications to ensure the implementation of the remaining stages of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza and to compel the occupation to begin negotiations for the second phase of the agreement.
