Al-Zubaidi Looted $21 Million For His Eastern Tour

At a time when Aden and the rest of the occupied southern cities are experiencing a complete collapse in services, the looting of public funds by mercenary thieves is being exposed.

According to media reports, the so-called head of the mercenary government, Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, continued on Wednesday to expose the corruption scandals of the so-called Presidential Council, the authority loyal to the aggression coalition.

In his latest leak, bin Mubarak revealed, according to media reports, that the so-called member of the Presidential Council and head of the Transitional Council, Aidarous al-Zubaidi, looted approximately $21 million from a special account in the port of Aden.

According to bin Mubarak, al-Zubaidi justified the withdrawal of the sum to cover the expenses of his recent tour, which included southern and eastern governorates.

Al-Zubaidi had returned to Aden a few weeks ago after a stay in the UAE that lasted for about a year.

Al-Zubaidi embarked on a shuttle and demonstration tour of his forces from al-Dhale’ in the far north of Aden to Socotra in the far east, passing through Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, al-Mahra, and Hadramaut.

The plundering of Aden port revenues adds to a long list of plunders committed by al-Zubaidi since his return, including the seizure of approximately 100 million Yemeni riyals, specifically for Aden’s electricity.

These operations reflect the extent of corruption rampant within the ranks of the coalition authorities, at a time when the population there is suffering from successive crises.

Al-Zubaidi is expected to leave Aden for his residence in Abu Dhabi at the end of his visit, which achieved nothing in the south.
