An Activist Criticized Deteriorating Conditions In Mocha Arrested

Media sources reported that gunmen loyal to mercenary Tariq Afash arrested an activist for criticizing the deteriorating living conditions in the city of Mocha in Taiz Governorate, which is under the control of Emirati mercenaries.

The sources added that crews from the Mocha Security Directorate arrested activist Shawqi Ibrahim Hassan Naji in the city of Mocha, following posts in which he criticized the living conditions and the suffering of Mocha citizens due to the lack of services.

They confirmed that activist Ibrahim Naji was transferred from the Mocha Security Prison to an unknown location shortly after his detention.

They noted that the activist’s criticisms focused on the state of chaos in Mocha, the looting of citizens’ lands, the prevention of city residents from building on their lands, and the extortion faced by merchants, which has forced them to leave the city.
