Campaign Launched In Bani Matar To Remove Stalls, Informal Settlements

A campaign was carried out today in the Bani Matar district of Sana’a Governorate to remove and clear stalls of vendors and illegal structures sin the center of the district.

The campaign, which was implemented by the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund, Traffic, and Public Works, aimed to organize markets, facilitate traffic movement, and eliminate congestion and violations that hindered the flow of traffic.

Yahya Alqanaws, the district director, emphasized the importance of collective efforts to remove informal settlements and violations from the public streets, and to provide alternative spaces for street vendors.

He stressed the need to continue removing violations and informal structures in the district’s markets and to enhance its aesthetic appearance.
