The European Union condemned the Israeli occupation’s decision to prevent the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, and considered that this could lead to humanitarian consequences.
It said in a statement, yesterday evening, Sunday, that work must be done to achieve a permanent ceasefire while ensuring the reconstruction of Gaza, renewing the call to ensure full, rapid, safe and unrestricted access for humanitarian aid to the Strip.
The head of the Zionist enemy government, Benjamin Netanyahu, decided on Sunday morning to stop the entry of all goods and supplies into the Gaza Strip.
The first phase of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip between the resistance and the Zionist occupation, which lasted for 42 days, ended yesterday, Saturday, in light of the latter’s procrastination and attempt to extend it, and not to engage in the second phase of the agreement that was mediated by Egypt, Qatar and the United States.
