The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Jamal Amer, met with the Arab and international delegations participating in the third conference, “Palestine: The Central Issue of the Nation,” which concluded its activities on Tuesday in the capital, Sana’a.
During the meeting, Minister Amer welcomed Yemen’s delegates attending the Third Palestine Conference in Sana’a, the capital of resistance and steadfastness.
He congratulated them on the conference’s success, emphasizing that Sana’a has become a model for confronting imperialist hegemony and global colonialism.
He considered their presence in Sana’a and their clear stance against war crimes and genocide committed by the Zionist entity in Gaza as a strong and unequivocal message rejecting oppression and colonial policies.
He also linked these policies to a resurgence of blatant imperialism, particularly following Donald Trump’s presidency, which, he said, sought to drag the world back to the 19th-century era of colonial arrogance.
Amer stressed that differences in religion and culture do not divide the free people of the world in their shared stance against injustice and the enslavement of nations, calling it a just cause that demands sacrifices.
He recalled historic struggles, beginning with Imam Hussein, “the Master of Martyrs,” whose legendary stand remains alive, to the Latin American revolutionaries who resisted US hegemony, particularly Che Guevara, and finally to the sacrifices made by “the martyr leader” Hassan Nasrallah and his comrades in this enduring struggle.
He added, “What unites the free people of the world is their living conscience, which has converged today from different continents in the capital of freedom, Sana’a, to reaffirm their categorical rejection of oppression and subjugation.”
He reiterated Yemen’s steadfast support for the position of Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi in backing and assisting Gaza.
After the meeting, attended by the head of the conference’s preparatory committee, Dr. Abdulrahim Al-Hamran, along with several committee members and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Amer presented commemorative gifts to the international guests who participated in the Third Palestine Conference.
