Foreign Ministry Condemns Takfiri Groups’ Crimes Against Civilians In Syria

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned the crimes committed in recent days by takfiri groups against hundreds of Syrian civilians in the Syrian coastal cities.

In a statement, the Ministry described these crimes as a blatant violation of international human rights law, threatening the social fabric, unity of the Syrian people, and the security and stability of Syria.

The statement emphasized the need to focus on the real enemy of the Syrian people and the Arab and Islamic nations, namely the occupying Zionist entity, which occupies Syrian land, assaults it, and destroys its resources.

The Ministry urged the international community to denounce these atrocious crimes and called for the establishment of an independent investigation committee to look into them, with the aim of holding those responsible accountable and ensuring they face justice.

The statement also called on the international community to compel the Zionist entity to halt its aggression against Syria, respect its sovereignty, and end its occupation of Syrian territories.
It reiterated the Yemeni Republic’s support for Syria’s sovereignty, stability, and territorial unity.
