General Authority Of Endowments Is Implementing Charitable Ramadan Projects At A Cost Of Half A Billion Riyals.

During the holy month of Ramadan, the General Authority for Endowments is implementing charitable humanitarian projects targeting the poor, the needy, orphans, the disabled, and those wounded by the aggression, at a cost of 500 million riyals, as part of its “And They Feed the Food” project.

These charitable projects include Ramadan kitchen projects in the capital, the governorates of Dhamar and Ibb, as well as support for charitable bakeries, the distribution of food baskets, and feeding the disabled and wounded by the aggression.

In this regard, the head of the General Authority for Endowments, Sheikh Abdul Majeed Al-Houthi, and the Director General of the Office in the capital, Mr. Walid Al-Alawi, yesterday inspected the Ramadan charity kitchen at the Grand Mosque in Sana’a, which cost 48 million riyals.

They were briefed on the daily provision of iftar meals to approximately 2,500 poor and needy people and families living near the Grand Mosque.

The head of the Authority explained that these charitable humanitarian projects are part of the Authority’s seasonal Ramadan projects, in accordance with the intentions of the donors. He noted that the Authority will launch a project in the coming days to feed 6,000 disabled and wounded by the aggression, at a cost exceeding 150 million riyals.

He called on businessmen and women to fulfill their humanitarian duty and do their utmost to provide support and assistance to the poor, the needy, the destitute, and the orphans, especially in light of the current conditions facing the country due to the ongoing aggression.

He urged everyone to feel responsible for their brothers in Gaza, who have been deprived of food and medicine and cut off from water by the Zionist enemy, in a shameful crime.

Sheikh Al-Houthi emphasized that the victory achieved by the Yemeni people is the result of the cooperation and support they have witnessed from all segments of society in need of aid and assistance, embodying the principle of solidarity commanded by God. He also highlighted the virtues of the month of Ramadan, during which rewards are multiplied.
