Dr. Ali Sheiban, the Minister of Health and Environment, inaugurated several new departments at the Typical Police Hospital in Sana’a, alongside the expansion of the capacity of existing facilities
The newly opened departments included the Digestive Diseases and Endoscopy Center, along with the expansion of the dialysis department with a capacity of 15 machines, and the women’s residence department with a capacity of 38 beds, in addition to the expansion and renovation of the internal medicine department.
During the opening ceremony, Dr. Sheiban emphasized the significance of these projects in enhancing healthcare services.
He also praised the dedication of medical staff, who continue to work tirelessly despite the challenges posed by the ongoing aggression and siege.
The Director General of Projects at the Ministry of Interior highlighted that these expansions are part of broader plans to develop medical services across the country.
He also announced that additional projects are set to be launched in the near future.
Brigadier General Dr. Fahd Al-Madwamai, Director of the Typical Police Hospital, underscored the importance of the support provided by the Ministry of Interior in ensuring the continuity of quality healthcare.
He noted that the new expansions will significantly improve the medical services offered to members of the Ministry of Interior, as well as the families of martyrs and the wounded.
