Hundreds Of Syrians Protest In Damascus In Solidarity With People Of Syrian Coast

Hundreds of Syrians gathered in Damascus to protest in solidarity with the people of the Syrian coast, who are facing armed attacks by the new Syrian regime forces .

The protesters chanted slogans against sectarianism and calling for ending the bloodshed.

Several villages in Tartus and in the countryside of Jableh in Latakia are being attacked by new Syrian armed factions, while the telecommunications and internet services in Syria’s southern provinces of Daraa and Suwayda were disrupted

Local sources from the Syrian coast confirmed to Al-Mayadeen that the number of massacre victims is in the hundreds, with dozens of bodies still scattered along the roadsides and in the village streets. Their families have been unable to bury them or reach them.

The sources also reported that residents of the villages fled to the mountains and forests, fearing for their lives, and have not dared to return to their villages.
