Italian “Il Faro sul Mondo”: US Punishes The Yemeni People

An Italian newspaper stated: “The United States and its allies continue to pursue a policy of ‘death to those who are not with us.’

To send this message, America has carried out a massacre against Yemenis during the holy month of Ramadan, a month of peace and reflection for Muslims around the world.”

The newspaper “Il Faro sul Mondo” explained in a new report that “the United States is punishing Yemen for its opposition to the Israeli aggression on Gaza,” adding: “In the latest atrocity, Trump and Charles committed a massacre that claimed the lives of dozens of innocent Yemeni civilians in the middle of Ramadan. The death toll from the recent US aggression on Yemen has risen to 53 “martyrs,” including two women and five children, and more than 100 civilians have been injured.”

In recent days, US and British warplanes have launched a brutal bombing campaign on Yemen, destroying dozens of civilian homes and decimating entire communities, all while the world remains silent.

As American bombs rained down on Yemeni cities and villages, from Sana’a to Sa’dah, from Ma’rib to Dhamar, the report added, “The United States is punishing an entire people for standing up to Israeli aggression, refusing to submit to Western hegemony, and standing in solidarity with the oppressed. To send the ultimate message, America made sure to carry out this massacre during the holy month of Ramadan, a month of peace and reflection for Muslims worldwide.”

The report explained that, “For the United States, the message is that no sanctity, no sanctity, no time, and no place are sacred if they hinder its imperial interests. This is just the beginning. American officials have already made it clear that these attacks will continue for days, perhaps weeks, and no one needs to talk.”

The report indicated that “America is deliberately carrying out collective punishment against the Yemenis,” explaining that the matter is not related to “defense” or “freedom of navigation,” but rather is a calculated attack on a nation that dared to stand with Palestine and Lebanon, but more importantly, dared to oppose the genocide being committed by “Israel” in Gaza and Lebanon.
