Millions of Yemenis gathered in various squares across Yemen on Friday to commemorate International Quds Day, with mass marches taking place.
A statement was issued during the marches reaffirmed their stance against Israeli and American actions, condemning their aggression in both Gaza and Yemen,
According to the statemen, the Yemeni people’s observance of International Quds Day reflected their deep faith and commitment to sacred causes as they reaffirmed their steadfast stance, rejecting compromise or retreat while remaining at the heart of the struggle.
The Quds Day marches also reaffirmed their “steadfastness in the principled and faithful stance that accepts neither compromise nor retreat,” emphasizing that “our people remain at the heart of the battle, bearing witness to the greatness of Islam and its strength in confronting the enemies of God and His Messenger.”
It added that as the marches commemorated a decade of resilience on the National Day of Resilience, millions took to the streets, expressing “gratitude to God, who granted us steadfastness, guidance, and support in our resilience against the coalition of aggression.”
“Just as we have endured the most brutal US-Saudi-Emirati aggression for years, we will continue to stand firm and struggle against the leaders of disbelief and the masters of hypocrisy,” the statement added.
The statement reaffirmed their “unwavering determination,” emphasizing that their “steadfastness in the face of prolonged aggression would persist as they continued to resist the forces of oppression and hypocrisy.”
