Massive Demonstrations In Central Jaffa (Tel Aviv) & An assault On A Knesset Member

Israeli media reported that massive demonstrations took place around the Knesset on Tuesday, including violent clashes between demonstrators and Israeli police, with all roads closed.

According to the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, demonstrators surrounding the Knesset building assaulted MK Almog Cohen and clashed with police officers.

The newspaper added that clashes erupted between Israeli police and demonstrators to prevent Knesset members from entering the building and voting in favor of the budget, with police using force to evacuate them.

Tens of thousands of demonstrators blocked all roads leading to the Knesset, which is holding budget deliberations.

According to Israeli media, extremist Minister Ben-Gvir was brought into the Knesset under heavy guard after the streets surrounding the building were closed.

According to the Walla website, the Defense Minister arrived at the Knesset in a military helicopter due to demonstrations surrounding the building.
