Ministry Of Information Launches Ramadan 1446 AH Program With Special Evening Event

The Ministry of Information and its affiliated institutions launched the Ramadan program for the year 1446 AH, with a gathering and a Ramadan evening event.

Minister of Information, Hashem Sharaf al-Din, expressed his happiness at the launch of the program in the presence of ministry leaders and staff, thanking everyone for their participation.

He emphasized the importance of integration between media institutions, ensuring no institution works independently, and stressed the need for developing media capabilities using available resources.

Minister Sharaf al-Din encouraged new initiatives and ideas aimed at improving media performance, noting the importance of working as a unified team with a collective message.

The Minister affirmed the ministry’s commitment to improving the ministry’s performance, which would positively affect the affiliated media institutions. He viewed the meeting as the beginning of a new phase of work and media momentum.

He acknowledged the blessings of being Muslim, belonging to the Islamic Ummah, and praised the leadership of Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi for his efforts to counter the enemy’s actions and protect the nation.

Minister Sharaf al-Din noted that the enemies direct all their resources during Ramadan to distract the people from worship and spirituality, including through the production of trivial media content that diverts Muslims from the values of the month.

He emphasized the importance of Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi’s Ramadan lectures, which derive lessons from Quranic stories relevant to current challenges, particularly highlighting the downfall of oppressive figures like Pharaoh and comparing them to modern figures like Trump.

The Minister stressed the need to confront Zionist media, which seeks to improve the image of the U.S., Israel, and the Western world while demonizing those defending the Ummah. He noted that this type of media manipulates history to sow discord among Muslims.

Minister Sharaf al-Din praised the role of Yemeni media professionals who have defended the nation and confronted enemy narratives despite limited resources.

He acknowledged their success in countering disinformation and praised them for their efforts in the face of adversity.

The Minister urged Yemeni media professionals to take on greater responsibility, particularly in light of Trump’s calls for the displacement of Palestinians. He emphasized the need to counter the large-scale disinformation efforts targeting the Arab and Islamic worlds.

He also stressed the need for media outlets to dedicate space to address the challenges and threats faced by Arab and Islamic peoples, especially as their media is often used to manipulate them in favor of ruling powers.

The Minister reiterated the importance of confronting the “Zionist media,” which attempts to portray enemies as allies and the oppressed as the aggressors. He also mentioned how enemies try to sow division by distorting Islam’s image and history.

He concluded by highlighting that the “Al-Aqsa Flood ” campaign has achieved strategic goals by uniting the Ummah over this issue, and he stressed that the enemy will attempt to divide the Ummah through various means, including media distortion.
