Tribal sources revealed the escalation of armed tensions in the Al-Subaiha areas of Lahj Governorate, as the Al-Atira and Al-Muhawala tribes began mobilizing dozens of armed elements in preparation for possible confrontations with the “Giants” militias funded by the coalition.
They explained that the escalation came after the “Giants” militia factions led by Hamdi Shukri killed 3 people from the two tribes in two separate incidents during the past few days in Al-Mudharaba and Ras Al-Ara.
They confirmed that the violations of the coalition militias in the Al-Subaiha areas sparked a state of anger and mobilization among the tribesmen.
The sources indicated the possibility of the outbreak of large-scale confrontations in the region, which threatens to exacerbate the armed situation against citizens, with the continuation of violations against a number of Al-Subaiha dignitaries.
