Neda’a Al Karama Center Condemns Heinous Crime Against Abdullatif Al-Jumaili In Marib

Neda’a Al Karama Center for Rights and Development has strongly condemned the heinous  crime committed by the Saudi-led aggression mercenaries in Marib against Citizen Abdullatif Jamil Rashid al-Jumaili.

In a statement,  the center said that  Al-Jumaili’s body was found on a street in Marib, wrapped in a blanket, with clear signs of severe torture.

The center confirmed that al-Jumaili had been detained for three months in a “Political Security” prison in Marib, where he was subjected to both physical and psychological abuse, ultimately leading to his death.

The center expressed grave concern over the continuing reports of brutal crimes against civilians and prisoners in Marib, holding the Saudi-Emirati aggression responsible.

It also criticized the lack of condemnation from international organizations regarding these “documented crimes.”

The statement highlighted previous incidents, including the alleged torture and death of poet Rashid al-Huttam for raising anti-American slogans, as well as the death of prisoner Murad al-Bahri due to torture and medical neglect.

Al-Karama Center called on international human rights organizations to investigate these incidents and hold those responsible accountable.

It also urged the UN Security Council and other UN agencies to take urgent action to end the “aggression and siege” on Yemen.
