Acting Governor of Taiz, Judge Ahmed Amin Al-Masawi, expressed his satisfaction with the success of Sana’a initiative to open the vital Qasr-Al-Kamb road linking Al-Hawban and the center of Taiz city for 24 hours throughout the month of Ramadan.
Al-Masawi saluted everyone who responded to the initiative, stressing the continuation of opening the road throughout the year as a safe humanitarian corridor for civilians and a step in the right direction.
The governor hoped that the approval of the other party would not be limited to the month of Ramadan only, but throughout the year.
Sana’a initiative to open the road “Qasr-Al-Kamb-Haud Al-Ashraf” 24 hours to serve citizens was proposed before the advent of the holy month of Ramadan and was met with strong rejection and intransigence by the mercenaries of the Saudi occupation before it was forced to open it under popular pressure, as the initiative is the only refuge for citizens to escape the hell of the economic and living crises suffered by the mercenary areas due to the high cost of living and the collapse of the currency.
This initiative is the second one adopted by Sana’a with the aim of alleviating the suffering of the people of Taiz Governorate.
The initiative to open the first road last year succeeded amid popular pressure to force the other party to agree to open the road, but it stipulated a partial opening through one lane “Al-Qasr – Al-Kamb” and during daylight hours only. In this initiative, the other party responded to Sana’a’s initiative to open the road 24 hours a day
