Sayyed Abdul-Malik: International Quds Day A Call To Action Against Injustice In Palestine

The leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi affirmed that Imam Khomeini declared the last Friday of Ramadan as International Day of Al-Quds to awaken nations, emphasizing that this day serves as a reminder of the nation’s responsibility toward holy sites, the great injustice suffered by the Palestinian people.

The US-Israeli Effort to Eliminate the Palestinian Cause

Sayyed Abdul-Malik stated that this year’s International Day of Al-Quds comes amid the ongoing genocide in Gaza, as well as the starvation and violation of Palestinian rights. He highlighted that the coordinated political, media efforts between Israel and US have become evident in their attempts to eliminate the Palestinian cause and complete the Zionist project stretching from the Nile to the Euphrates.

He pointed out that the US is now openly speaking about the displacement of Palestinians, shifting away from discussions on so-called peace and settlement. Meanwhile, Israeli efforts to Judaize Al-Aqsa Mosque, continue displacement in the occupied West Bank persist.

Palestinian Resistance and Israeli Weakness

Sayyed Abdul-Malik stressed that the level of Palestinian resilience in Gaza is unprecedented, describing the Al-Aqsa Flood operation as a turning point in Palestinian resistance. He added that due to the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, Israel was forced to seek direct American intervention alongside unprecedented Western support.

He noted that Israel has been in an unprecedentedly fragile state, with growing questions about the survival of the Israeli entity. In response, both the US and Israel have resorted to collective genocide and total destruction, rather than engaging directly with Palestinian fighters.

The Role of the Resistance Axis

Sayyed Abdul-Malik pointed out that Israel attempted to crush the military resistance in Palestine through brutality and pressure, yet the steadfastness of Gaza’s society under extremely difficult conditions remains a historic achievement for the Palestinian people.

He praised the contributions of the support fronts, particularly Hezbollah in Lebanon, which has played a significant role in the battle against Israel.

Regarding Yemen’s role, Sayyed Abdul-Malik affirmed that it has actively engaged in military operations, including blocking Israeli maritime navigation and launching missile, drone attacks deep into occupied Palestine. Additionally, Yemen has mobilized politically, in the media, and through mass public demonstrations that he described as unmatched worldwide.

He also highlighted the key role of the Islamic resistance factions in Iraq, the Islamic Republic of Iran, acknowledging their continuous support for the Palestinian people, fighters, as well as their involvement in The True Promise operations.

Unwavering Iranian Position, Exposure of Global Double Standards

Sayyed Abdul-Malik emphasized that the Israeli enemy is fully aware of Iran’s pivotal role and has been exerting continuous pressure on the country. Despite relentless Western pressures, Iran has maintained its steadfast position on Palestine since the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

He further stated that this year’s Al-Quds Day has exposed and filtered the true stance of the Arab, Islamic world, particularly the official positions of Arab regimes, before even looking at the broader Islamic sphere.

Failure of International Institutions

Sayyed Abdul-Malik criticized what he described as unprecedented Arab, Islamic abandonment in the ongoing confrontation with Israel. He also condemned the role of international organizations, especially the UN, the Security Council, as well as human rights and humanitarian institutions, for their failure to act.

He noted that the UN has taken no practical steps against Israel’s genocide in Gaza, the West Bank. He argued that the UN should have withdrawn its recognition of Israel as an illegitimate entity and expelled it from international forums.

Additionally, he accused the UN Security Council of prioritizing the security of oppressive global powers rather than protecting the Palestinian people and other oppressed nations.

Global Voices of Resistance

In conclusion, he highlighted the growing global solidarity with Gaza, particularly from nations such as Venezuela, South Africa, Colombia, and other countries that have taken a strong stance against Israeli aggression. He called for the continuation of popular and political mobilization to confront Israeli crimes and its Western backers.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi also called on the dear Yemeni people to participate in a massive march on International Day of Al-Quds, Friday, in the capital, Sana’a, and other provinces.

In his speech on the occasion of International Day of Al-Quds, he emphasized that this million-strong turnout at this stage and time, as part of the great stance of our dear people, is a form of jihad in the path of Allah.
