UAE Acts As Israel’s Official Representative In Arab League

United Arab Emirates has turned itself into Israel’s official representative in the Arab League, taking positions that are completely in harmony with the occupation state’s strategy regarding the resistance in the Gaza Strip.

Reuters news agency confirmed, citing diplomatic sources, that the UAE insisted on violating the Arab consensus on the future of Gaza and the position on the resistance by stipulating the complete disarmament of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” and the rest of the factions.

The agency said that the UAE “considers Hamas an existential threat, and stipulates the complete disarmament of the movement” in order to secure Arab funding for the reconstruction of Gaza, while other Arab countries call for a gradual approach.

It added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia considers the continued presence of armed Hamas in Gaza an obstacle to any solution, due to strong opposition from the United States and the Israeli occupation state.

Last Tuesday, Arab leaders adopted an Egyptian plan to rebuild the Gaza Strip, worth $53 billion, in an attempt to avoid the displacement of Palestinians from the Strip, contrary to the vision of US President Donald Trump.

The White House announced that the plan adopted by the Arab countries does not address the reality of Gaza, stressing that Trump is sticking to his proposal.

Trump’s plan, which aims to displace Palestinians and seize control of the Strip, was condemned worldwide last month, which reinforced Palestinian fears of permanent displacement from their lands
