Ahead of International al-Quds Day, the Yemeni Scholars Association has issued a statement and urgent call to the Muslim world, demanding decisive action against the Israeli occupation of Palestine.
in the statement, the association emphasized the importance of awareness regarding the sanctity and Islamic and Arab identity of al-Aqsa Mosque, which it regards as equally sacred as the Grand Mosque in Mecca.
The association stressed the need to raise awareness that Palestine, with its al-Quds (Jerusalem), mosque, and blessed land, is a trust from Allah in the hands of Muslims, and that the Jews have no right to it, nor any legitimacy in their presence on its soil.
The statement urged the entire Muslim ummah to rise and called on the intellectual, religious, academic, and media elites, particularly in the Arab world, to take full responsibility for supporting Gaza and al-Aqsa Mosque.
It also condemned the barbaric massacres and genocidal war, placing the blame on neighboring Arab states for their inaction and failure to prevent the ongoing Judaization of al-Aqsa and the threat of its destruction by the occupying Israeli forces.
The association commemorated International al-Quds Day as a day for mobilization and unity, initiated by Imam Khomeini, calling for a focus on al-Aqsa Mosque, the blessed land of the prophets, and the need to prepare for religious, faith-based, and jihadist responsibilities.
It also honored the sacrifices made by Gaza in the battle “Deluge of al-Aqsa” for the liberation of al-Aqsa Mosque and the release of the detainees subjected to torture and humiliation in Israeli prisons.
The Yemeni Scholars Association reaffirmed the importance of International al-Quds Day and its role in raising awareness, strengthening resolve, and preparing for the ultimate victory over the occupation. It stressed that the occupation would inevitably fall and be removed.
The association urged Arabs, in particular, and Muslims, in general, to fear Allah, adhere to His Book, and unite under His banner, presenting a true image that reflects the greatness of Islam, the dignity of the Qur’an, and the power of monotheism, which rejects polytheism and corruption, particularly in regard to the Jews, their deviation, and their occupation of Palestine.
The statement emphasized the obligation to support the mujahideen (fighters) in Gaza through military, media, and financial means, and the prohibition of abandoning or remaining neutral in the just and legitimate battle “Deluge of al-Aqsa” against the Israeli enemy.
The association called on the Arab and Islamic peoples to rally behind the decisions and positions of the revolutionary leadership in Yemen, supporting its stance in favor of Gaza. This includes full support for Yemeni military assistance to Gaza and giving complete authority to the revolutionary leader in any decision or practical steps taken.
The statement urged countries that have normalized relations with Israel or rushed to engage with the Israeli and U.S. governments to sever their political and diplomatic ties, stop exporting oil to Israel and the U.S., and expel their ambassadors as a minimal response. It also warned against further indulging in the sin and crime of normalization.
The association emphasized the prohibition of normalization with the Zionist entity in all forms, describing it as an even greater sin and crime due to the ongoing events in Gaza and all of Palestine. It also condemned cooperation and collusion with the US, considering it as complicity with the Israeli occupation and a participation in all the wrongdoings being carried out.
The Yemeni Scholars Association stated that the American and British aggression against Yemen would ultimately fail, achieving none of its goals, whether declared or undeclared. It emphasized that Allah is the protector of the believers and surrounds both America and Israel.
The association called on the Yemeni people and the entire Muslim ummah to commemorate International al-Quds Day, participate in the Jerusalem and Palestine solidarity march, and prepare spiritually, jihadistically, and militarily for the battle of “The Promise of the Hereafter,” aiming for the inevitable downfall and removal of the cancerous entity from Muslim lands and the triumph of the central cause of the ummah—support for the Palestinian people.
