Zionist enemy continues its aggression against the city and camp of Jenin for the 55th consecutive day, amidst bulldozing and burning homes, and converting others into military barracks.
The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that forces continue to burn homes in Jenin camp. Yesterday, they burned several homes, including on Freedom Theater Street. Meanwhile, infantry forces deployed in the camp’s main square, firing flares around Al-Zahraa School.
The Zionist enemy forces also closed the entrance to Jenin Governmental Hospital with earth mounds and continued their military movements around the camp and on several streets in the city.
Enemy tanks and armored vehicles are positioned around the camp, while bulldozers continue to bulldoze streets and expand others to allow military vehicles to enter.
The Zionist enemy forces have completely demolished approximately 120 homes in the camp’s alleyways and neighborhoods, damaging dozens of homes, and displacing approximately 20,000 residents. In the town of Jalboun, north of Jenin, Israeli occupation forces raided a number of homes and converted them into military barracks.
Israeli forces also stormed the town of Qabatiya, the village of Bir al-Basha, and the town of Ya’bad, patrolling their streets. No arrests were reported.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Jenin, which began on January 21, has resulted in the deaths of 34 Palestinian civilians and the injury of dozens more, in addition to unprecedented destruction of infrastructure and public and private property.
