Sixteen Palestinians, including children and women, have been killed since the early hours of Thursday, April 24, 2025, in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting various areas of the Gaza Strip.
One of the airstrikes resulted in the deaths of freed prisoner Ali Al-Sarafiti, his wife, and his four children, after their home in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood north of Gaza City was targeted.
West of Nuseirat in the central Gaza Strip, three Palestinians were killed and others were injured in a bombing that targeted a tent housing displaced persons from the Farajallah family in the Al-Sawarah area.
Two Palestinians were also killed in a bombing of the home of the Al-Najjar family in the Qizan Al-Najjar area south of Khan Yunis: Mahmoud Yassin Al-Najjar, nicknamed Hajj Deeb (Abu Hussam), and his wife, Hajja Laila Hamdi Al-Najjar.
Another bombing of a tent housing displaced persons in the Al-Attar area of Mawasi, Khan Yunis, resulted in the deaths of two others: Jana Jawad Al-Zamili (15 years old) and Mahmoud Jawad Al-Zamili (6 years old).
Three martyrs, including a child, were killed and others were injured in an airstrike targeting a home belonging to the Abu Shaqir family in the Al-Amal neighborhood west of Khan Yunis. The martyrs were: Issam Muhammad Issam Ahmad, Suwar Muhammad Issam Ahmad, and Dalia Marwan Issa Al-Jamal.
The Israeli occupation forces continued to bomb residential buildings north of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
The death toll from the ongoing war of extermination on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 51,305, amid the catastrophic humanitarian conditions endured by the residents of the besieged enclave.
