At least three people were killed and seven others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on Beirut’s southern suburbs early on Tuesday, the Lebanese health ministry said.
In a statement, the Lebanese Ministry of Health stated that “three people were martyred, including a woman, and seven others were wounded, including two in critical condition, in a preliminary toll of victims from the Zionist airstrike that targeted a building the Madi neighborhood in Beirut’s southern suburb shortly after midnight.”
For its part, media reports indicated that “the removal of rubble from the targeted building in the southern suburbs is still ongoing,” noting that “a unit of the Lebanese army has cordoned off the targeted area in the southern suburbs.”
