Five Palestinians, including a young girl, were killed on Thursday afternoon as Israeli occupation forces intensified airstrikes on the cities of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza and Rafah in the south, bringing the total number of Palestinians killed since dawn to 29.

According to the Palestinian official news agency WAFA, two Palestinian civilians — Motaz Bellah Al-Najjar and Nooh Al-Najjar — were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Deir al-Balah. Their bodies were transported to Nasser Medical Complex.

In a separate attack east of Deir al-Balah, Israeli forces targeted a roadside vegetable stall on Abu Arif Street, killing a young man, Sari Jalal Abu Musabeh, and a young girl, Sewar Ahmad Dalloul. Several others were injured in a separate drone strike that hit a motorcycle in the same area.
