The Deputy Governor of Marib Governorate for Development Affairs, Daris Al-Muawadhi, inspected the progress of work on the Al-Lujmah Dam project in the Majzar district, accompanied by local officials, including Faris Al-Qansi, Engineer Mohammed Dhiab, and Mohsen Ghafinah.
Al-Muawadhi emphasized the importance of the project, which costs 267 million riyals, with support from the local community, the local authority, the Agricultural Projects Financing Unit, and the Central Interventions Unit of the Ministry of Administration and Local Development.
He emphasized the need to implement the project according to approved engineering specifications to ensure maximum benefit.
The officials indicated that the dam will have a significant impact in improving water resources in the district and supporting the agricultural sector by encouraging farmers to expand their cultivation of fertile lands.
