The Islamic Republic of Iran has once again condemned the ongoing Israeli strikes on Syria and the US aggression against Yemen.
In his weekly press briefing on Monday, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei stated that Iran strongly condemns these attacks on the two “brotherly nations,” describing them as clear violations of international law.
Baghaei also noted that the venue for the second round of indirect talks with the United States has not yet been determined but confirmed that negotiations will continue in their current indirect format in hopes of achieving constructive outcomes.
He explained that arrangements are being facilitated through the mediator, the Sultanate of Oman, and that once Oman officially shares its perspective, Iran will announce the location of the upcoming talks.
The ongoing US aggression against Yemen, which began in mid-March, aims to pressure Yemen into abandoning its supportive stance toward the Palestinian people, who are facing a genocidal war in Gaza.
Sana’a has reaffirmed that it will continue its operations in support of Gaza, stressing that US attacks will not deter the Yemeni people from their steadfast position in solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
