This morning, Thursday, the Zionist enemy authorities released a number of Palestinian prisoners from the Gaza Strip through the “Kosofim” crossing east of the Central Governorate.
Local sources reported the arrival of 12 prisoners via a Red Cross-marked bus and another affiliated vehicle to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza.
Signs of fatigue, exhaustion, and torture were clearly visible on their frail bodies, as a result of the occupation’s policies specifically targeting the prisoners from Gaza in the Zionist prisons and detention centers.
According to statements by Qadoura Fares, head of the Commission for Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs, the Zionist enemy is currently holding around 2,500 male and female prisoners from the Gaza Strip since the start of its aggression, detained in the following prisons: Sde Teiman, Anatot, Ofer military prison, and the Negev desert camp.
The enemy subjects them to enforced disappearance, starvation, and constant humiliation through various means—including verbal abuse, forced degrading speech, intimidation, and threats—as part of a deliberate policy to break their dignity.
