Palestinian journalist Islam Nasr al-Din Maqdad was martyred in an Israeli airstrike targeting a house west of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
This brings the number of journalists killed since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip to 220.
Palestinian sources reported that enemy aircraft targeted a house and a tent west of Khan Yunis last night, killing nine civilians, including journalist Maqdad.
The sources stated that journalist Maqdad was martyred in an airstrike that targeted the Abdul Hadi family’s home in the city’s Al-Amal neighborhood. With the death of journalist Maqdad, the number of journalists killed since the beginning of the war of extermination has risen to 220.
The enemy deliberately targets Palestinian journalists in the Gaza Strip systematically in an attempt to silence them and prevent them from conveying the truth to the world.
