The Yemeni government in Sana’a announced on Tuesday the release of a Sudanese war prisoner of the Saudi-led aggression coalition forces for humanitarian reasons.
The head of the National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs in Sana’a, Abdulqader Al-Murtadha, explained that the release of Sudanese prisoner Musa Abdulrahman Ahmed Mohammed was based on humanitarian motives.
He noted via his account on the “X” platform that the Sudanese prisoner was handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross, which undertook the task of transporting him to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and from there to his homeland.
Al-Murtadha also explained that this step came in accordance with the directives of Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi.
