Zionist Shipping Companies Complain From The Effects of Yemeni Naval Blockade

Israeli shipping company owners have complained about the effects of the naval blockade imposed by the Yemeni armed forces on shipping to Israel in support of Gaza.

Gil Miller, CEO of Alaluf Shipping, said: “Due to naval attacks from Yemen and security threats, ship owners have preferred to refrain from sailing to Israel.”

He pointed out that the crisis culminated with the Yemeni armed forces’ seizure of the Galaxy Leader ship, which led to a radical change in the movement of commercial ships to Israel.

He continued: “Ships were forced to bypass the Suez Canal and the Red Sea and take a long route, causing significant delays.”

He pointed out that maritime transport today has become much longer, more expensive, and more difficult. Shipping prices to Israel have increased, war fees have been added, and insurance rates have also risen.

Israel’s economy is almost entirely dependent on maritime imports, including the automotive industry.
