Al-Murtadha Accuses Coalition-Backed Party Of Blocking Prisoner Exchange Efforts

The Head of the Prisoners’ Affairs Committee, Abdulqader Al-Murtadha, accused the Saudi-led  aggression coalition-backed party of thwarting all efforts to move forward with the prisoner file

“For nearly a year, we have been sending local mediators to Marib, following up with the UN envoy’s office in an attempt to move the prisoners’ issue. However, all efforts to move the prisoners’ file have failed due to the intransigence of the other party,” Al-Murtadha wrote on X.

He emphasized that “Halting the prisoners’ issue in this manner is a vile exploitation of their suffering and an unjustifiable moral failure.”
