Media sources in Hadhramaut Governorate reported that a Salafi sheikh was assassinated in the governorate, which is under the control of coalition militias.
The sources said that unknown gunmen assassinated Salafi sheikh Ahmed bin Shathan on Sunday in his car on the road linking the Al-Abr area and the Al-Wadiah crossing, in front of the Al-Afareet camp, resulting in his immediate death.
The incident comes at a time when areas under occupation are experiencing significant chaos and security disturbances.
