China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Sunday that Beijing and Moscow will continue to work together to establish a multipolar world based on justice and balance.
In an official statement, the ministry affirmed that China and Russia will maintain a clear stance against unilateralism and bullying, and will jointly promote a fair, orderly multipolar world and inclusive economic globalization.
Chinese President Xi Jinping will make an official visit to Russia from May 7-10 to participate in celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany, the Kremlin said on Sunday. The visit comes at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In a statement on Telegram, the Kremlin said that Xi will discuss with Russian President Vladimir Putin the development of the two countries’ strategic partnership, as well as signing a number of documents, according to Reuters.
