China To Trump: America Is A “Paper Tiger” And We Won’t ‘Kneel Down’

China criticized the trade war launched against it by US President Donald Trump, affirming that it will “never kneel down” while urging the international community to stand up to American bullying.

China’s Foreign Ministry posted to social media a striking video that calls on the international community to stand up to America’s “bully” leader.

“Bowing to a bully is like drinking poison to quench thirst – it only deepens the crisis,” China said in its video, narrated in English and subtitled in Chinese. “History has proven compromise won’t earn you mercy – kneeling only invites more bullying. China won’t kneel down.”

Biejing goes on to portray China as the force for “justice” in the world.

“All bullies are just paper tigers,” the video says. “China won’t back down, so the voices of the weak will be heard. Bullying will be stopped. And justice will not disappear from the world.”

This comes as both countries are facing economic pain from the trade war. China’s factory activity fell into the worst contraction since December 2023, according to China’s National Bureau of Statistics.

Today in the cabinet room, Trump said China’s economy is getting “hammered.” But Beijing says they won’t budge.

“When the rest of the world stands together in solidarity, the U.S. is just a small, stranded boat. Imperialists are always arrogant. If they show a bit of reason, it’s only because they’re forced to do so,” the video narrates.”

“The US will keep flip-flopping and playing hard ball. But China will stand firm. For China, for the world, we must rise and fight on.”
