The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Friday that 109 martyrs and 216 injuries have arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip.
It added in a statement on Friday that the number of martyrs since the Israeli occupation resumed its genocidal war on the besieged enclave on March 18 had thus risen to 2,985 while the number of injured had reached 8,173.
The ministry pointed out that the total number of martyrs since the Israeli aggression started its genocide on October 7, 2023 had climbed to 53,119 and the number of injured surged to 120,214.
A number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, unable to be reached by ambulance and civil defense crews, the ministry concluded.
