FM Sends Letter To His Egyptian Counterpart

Minister of Foreign Affairs in Sana’a Jamal Amer sent on Wednesday a letter to his Egyptian counterpart, Dr. Badr Abdel Ati, addressing the situation of the Yemeni community and cooperation between the two countries.

Armed extended his greetings to Egypt and its leadership and praised its regional and international role and its hosting of Yemenis in light of the current circumstances that Yemen is going through.

The letter touched on the challenges facing Yemenis in Egypt, such as the problems of patients and concerns over reports of unjustified detentions and fraud.

Amer commended the Egyptian Interior Minister’s direction for the investigation and called for cooperation to resolve these problems.

The foreign minister affirmed Yemen’s readiness for a comprehensive strategic dialogue with Egypt to enhance political, economic, security, and cultural cooperation and to discuss common regional issues.
