Former Tunisian Foreign Minister Rafik Abdessalem praised Yemen’s advanced missile capabilities, which successfully penetrated the Israeli enemy’s defense systems, including the American “THAAD” system, heralding a new era of Yemeni technology surpassing advanced Western technology.
In a post on his X (Twitter) account, Abdessalem stated: “It seems that Yemeni technology has triumphed over American technology. From now on, we will read ‘Made in Yemen’ as a symbol of superiority on land and in the skies, alongside ‘Made in China.’”
The Tunisian diplomat attached a screenshot from Al Jazeera Palestine, citing Israel’s Channel 14, which reported: “The American THAAD system failed for the second time in a week to intercept a missile launched from Yemen.”
On Friday, the Yemeni Armed Forces, through their official spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, confirmed the successful strike on Ben Gurion Airport (Lod Airport) with a hypersonic ballistic missile.
This marks the second time Yemeni forces have launched a hypersonic missile that bypassed all Israeli air defense systems, including the American THAAD, reaching Ben Gurion Airport and disrupting dozens of flights for days to come.
