The Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” has announced in a statement that it has reached an agreement with US Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steven Witkoff, aimed at ending the genocide in Gaza.
The statement confirmed that the resistance group reached an understanding with US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steven Witkoff on a framework for a permanent ceasefire.
According to the statement, the deal includes a full withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, the uninterrupted entry of humanitarian aid, and the formation of a professional committee to manage Gaza’s civil affairs once the deal is declared.
Hamas confirmed the agreement also includes a prisoner exchange: the release of ten Israeli prisoners, including living prisoners and bodies, in exchange for the release of an agreed number of Palestinian detainees, with guarantees provided by international mediators.
The group is awaiting a final response to the framework, according to the statement
