German carrier Lufthansa and Spanish airline Air Europa announced the suspension of their flights to and from Tel Aviv after a ballistic missile was launched from Yemen, targeting an area at the Israeli entity’s main Ben Gurion Airport.
The Lufthansa Group, which also includes SWISS, Austrian Airlines, and Brussels Airlines, canceled all of its scheduled flights for Sunday, according to its website, according to Russia Today.
Other airlines, including Air Europa, Air India, and Italy’s ITA, also announced the cancellation of their flights to Israeli entity due to the Yemeni missile attack on Ben Gurion Airport.
Minutes before a ballistic missile from Yemen entered Israeli airspace, Ben Gurion Airport temporarily halted takeoffs and landings.
