The Governor of Al-Mahrah, Al-Qatabi Ali Al-Farji, emphasized that the Yemeni unification stands as the most significant historical and strategic accomplishment of the Yemeni people. It remains a deeply rooted symbol in the hearts and minds of Yemenis and a vital foundation in confronting efforts toward division and fragmentation.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Governor Al-Farji explained that the 35th National Day of the Republic of Yemen, May 22, comes this year amidst the conspiracies being waged in the occupied governorates targeting the homeland, its unity, security, and sovereignty.
He pointed out that the blessed unity was achieved thanks to the sacrifices and strong will of the Yemeni people, and that it remains as firm and steadfast as mountains, regardless of the conspiracies, plots, and attempts by enemies to undermine it.
Governor Al-Farji noted that unity will remain the solid rock in the face of all challenges and foreign interventions, and that all attempts by the occupiers to undermine it will fail, because unity is deeply entrenched in the minds and minds of all Yemenis and has been sealed with blood and physical sacrifices.
He pointed out that Yemenis are celebrating the 35th National Day of the Republic of Yemen (May 22) amid unprecedented regional and international changes resulting from the aggressive war waged by the Zionist enemy entity against the Gaza Strip.
He reiterated Yemen’s steadfast position in support of the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance, appreciating the stance of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the President of the Supreme Political Council, the Government of Change and Construction, and the Yemeni people in supporting the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in confronting the Zionist enemy, backed by the United States and Europe.
Governor Al-Farji stated that unity is the symbol of the Yemeni people’s steadfastness and cohesion in the face of all the conspiracies of the alarmists and their attempts to undermine their gains, foremost among which is this historic achievement, which represented a pivotal stage in the life of the Yemeni people.
He also emphasized that unity belongs to all Yemenis and will not be affected by a group of mercenaries who betrayed the homeland and devoted themselves to serving the occupation and implementing its agendas and goals.
He explained that unity is linked to the will of the Yemeni people, who have proven to the world their ability to withstand and confront the most brutal aggression and thwart all its conspiracies.
He pointed out that unity expressed a free Yemeni will and will remain a source of pride for all segments of the people. He emphasized the need to continue the struggle and confront the conspiracies hatched against the homeland and its people.
Al-Mahrah’s governor warned against continued attacks on Yemeni unity by forces of aggression and occupation, stressing that this unity was secured through the sacrifices of people across the nation — from Al-Mahrah in the east to Hodeidah in the west, and from Aden in the south to Saada in the north.
