Mercenaries Target A Farm In Al-Jarahi

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources strongly condemned the US-Saudi aggression mercenaries’ bombing of a citizen’s farm in Al-Jarrahi District, Al Hodeidah Governorate, which resulted in the death of a woman and her child and the loss of several heads of livestock.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the Ministry of Agriculture considered the mercenaries’ targeting of livestock and agricultural facilities a blatant attack on citizens’ livelihoods and the foundations of food security in rural areas. It also reflects the aggression and its mercenaries’ determination to destroy the economic and agricultural infrastructure of the Yemeni people.

The Ministry explained that the farm that was bombed represents a primary source of income for a rural family that relies on livestock, making this crime double in terms of its humanitarian and livelihood impact.

The Ministry of Agriculture held the international community and humanitarian organizations responsible for their suspicious silence regarding these ongoing crimes, calling for urgent action to condemn these violations, hold their perpetrators accountable, and work to protect civilians and their property in agricultural areas.
