Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi met on Monday with the Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment, Engineer Moeen Al-Mahqari, to review the ministry’s overall performance and assess the activities and tasks carried out during the past period.
The meeting addressed efforts to create an electronic platform to showcase the products of productive families, entrepreneurs, and small and micro-enterprises.
The platform holds significant importance for these groups, enabling them to display and market their products and projects, and serving as a foundation for the development of future commercial enterprises.
Minister Al-Mahqari stated that the ministry will proceed with the executive and technical steps necessary to establish the platform and aims to complete it as soon as possible.
He noted that the platform, which is expected to launch soon, will be free of charge for all target groups, including local producers, entrepreneurs, and small business owners.
He emphasized that the services offered through the e-trader platform are intended to support and empower this vital segment of society.
Prime Minister Al-Rahwi commended the efforts of the Ministry of Economy, Industry, and Investment, and welcomed the initiative to launch the platform for productive families, entrepreneurs, and micro-enterprises, along with similar digital tools aimed at simplifying procedures and promoting local products and businesses.
He affirmed that revitalizing the middle class is a key element in activating, diversifying, and expanding economic activity, while also contributing to social stability.
