Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi inaugurated the first phase of a nationwide inspection and evaluation program for public services across central and local government institutions.
In his speech, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of accurately assessing the current state of government services, identifying the most suitable areas for reform, and assisting government agencies in refining their service delivery procedures.
He also called for the establishment of a culture focused on inspection, evaluation, and performance measurement.
“It is crucial in this phase to focus on assessing government services and identifying key areas for development,” he stated.
He pointed out that the process of inspecting and evaluating public services stems from a deep sense of responsibility toward the people, aiming to serve them and ensure their satisfaction with the services provided.
He clarified that the success of any service facility or official is measured by the level of public comfort and satisfaction with their performance, their fulfillment of duties, and the quality of services offered.
The Prime Minister urged all public service units to allow evaluation teams to assess services, simplify procedures, and implement service manuals in both central and local units, calling for cooperation to achieve these goals.
He emphasized the need for collaboration with the National Team to complete tasks like simplifying procedures, establishing citizen service centers, improving the complaints system, and combating corruption.
Al-Rahwi instructed the swift completion of service manuals in ministries and provinces, coordinating with the Ministry of Civil Service, and submitting them to the National Team.
He also highlighted the need to complete the development of a unified electronic system for citizen services, linking it to the Prime Minister’s Office for real-time tracking.
