President Al-Mashat Congratulates Lebanon On 25th Resistance and Liberation Day

His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, sent a message of congratulations to the state, people, army, and resistance of brotherly Lebanon on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Resistance and Liberation Day. The text of the message reads:

“It gives me great pleasure to extend my warmest and most sincere congratulations to the brotherly state of Lebanon—its people, army, and resistance—on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Resistance and Liberation Day.

This significant anniversary stands as a powerful testament to the determination and courage of the Lebanese people in liberating their land from the grip of the usurping Israeli occupation. It affirms a timeless truth: no matter how formidable the occupying entity may appear, its foundation remains fragile—no stronger than a spider’s web.

This occasion comes as we remember the martyr of Islam and humanity—whose leadership and vision were instrumental in achieving this historic victory. Today, while the Israeli enemy continues to pursue its schemes—seeking to entrench its occupation along Lebanon’s borders and sow discord through alliances with the United States and its regional agents—we must remain vigilant.

Resistance and Liberation Day is not merely a commemoration but a symbol of the unified efforts of the army, the people, and the resistance. It embodies the deep meaning of armed resistance and its pivotal role in protecting sovereignty and achieving victory.

From the Republic of Yemen, we express our full confidence in the enduring strength of this trinity—the army, the people, and the resistance—and their unwavering ability to confront conspiracies and reclaim every inch of Lebanon’s sacred land.

We reaffirm Yemen’s solidarity and steadfast support for all just and honorable choices, until final victory is achieved for Lebanon and its proud people.”
