Red Cross Announces The Martyrdom Of Two Of Its Employees In Gaza

International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) announced on Sunday that two of its staff members were killed on Saturday in a strike on their home in the Khan Yunis area in the southern Gaza Strip.

The organization said on its official Twitter account: “We are shocked by the killing of our dear colleagues Ibrahim Eid and Ahmed Abu Hilal. Today, we renew our urgent appeal for the respect and protection of civilians in Gaza.”

The ICRC offered its condolences to the families, friends, and colleagues of the two martyrs, stressing that “their loss leaves a deep wound in our hearts.”

It added that “the killing of our staff adds to the huge and unacceptable number of civilians killed in Gaza.”

The ICRC called for “a resumption of the ceasefire and the protection of civilians, including medical, humanitarian, and civil defense personnel.”

The enemy army is committing genocidal crimes in Gaza with the absolute support of the United States of America, resulting in the martyrdom of 53,939 and the injury of 122,797 since October 7, 2023.
