Ryanair Cancels “Israel” flights Until June 4

Low-cost Irish airline giant Ryanair has cancelled its flights to “Israel” until June 4, Hebrew business media outlet Globes reported on May 14.

This decision comes in light of ongoing missile fire from Yemen and the air blockade enforced by the Yemeni Armed Forces on Israeli air navigation.

The announcement comes after passengers had already begun receiving cancellation notices for their booking, according to the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth.

Ryanair, an ultra-low-cost carrier offering particularly competitive base prices with additional charges for extra services, had marketed tickets for May at exceptionally affordable rates when it resumed operations to “Israel” in early April.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have imposed an air blockade on “Israel” in retaliation for the escalation of Israeli military aggression on Gaza, according to a statement from Yemen’s military spokesperson.
